Milorad Ćosić from Serbia finds the challenges of Nordic weather enticing and motivating. As the Technical Manager at Griptel, he enjoys tackling the task of designing and developing the safest mounting solutions on the market.
As a Technical Manager, I am responsible for all aspects of design, as well as verifying the load bearing and stability capabilities of our products. This includes overseeing all technical aspects related to our products and services to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance,” he says.
Originally from Serbia, where he earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Belgrade, Milorad started his career as a consultant for Griptel before relocating to Norway with his wife and their two small children.
Demanding and fulfilling
“The unique challenges of creating standardized solutions able to withstand freezing temperatures and harsh wind and weather conditions are demanding and fulfilling,” Milorad says. He particularly appreciates Griptel’s customer-centric approach, relying on innovation, reliability, and standardized as well as tailor-made solutions.
“Whether it’s designing roof penetration systems or developing mounting solutions for 5G equipment on industrial chimneys, all solutions need to be robust, easy to install, and tailored to the customer’s exact needs,” Milorad says. He especially enjoyed being part of the team that developed a standardized modular frame for electrical cabinets, a design that balances flexibility with strength.
As Griptel continues to expand internationally, the telecommunications industry is evolving rapidly, with the roll-out of 5G networks and a growing emphasis on sustainability.
“At Griptel, we are dedicated to staying ahead of these trends by enhancing our product offerings and incorporating innovations that support the future of telecommunications. Leading this effort is Milorad, our technical manager, whose expertise and dedication are invaluable to our success. We are proud to have him at the helm of this initiative,” says Pål Bjørdal, CEO of Griptel.
