This week we proudly celebrate our skilled Warehouse Manager, Igor Dabic, who marks an impressive 10 years with Griptel.
Igor has been with us almost since the very beginning of the company. He first came into contact with Griptel while working on a 4G project for UBConnect. In 2015, he joined our team as a warehouse employee, and with his broad background and degree in economics, he was offered the position of Warehouse Manager just two years later, in 2017.
In his role, Igor carries a wide range of responsibilities. He oversees warehouse operations, manages stock levels, and handles product orders from our manufacturing facility in Latvia, Gripsteel. He also holds personnel responsibility for our warehouse staff, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient logistics. What Igor enjoys most is the variety of tasks, staying close to the products, interacting with customers, and the short decision-making lines that characterize working in a Norwegian company. He particularly values the flat structure at Griptel – and the fact that everyone, from warehouse to management, gathers around the same table for lunch every day.
Originally from Serbia, Igor has now made his home in Sandvika, where he lives with his wife. Over the past decade, he has become a highly valued colleague and a key part of Griptel’s journey – from a small start-up to the solid and innovative company we are today.
