We are proud to announce that Griptel Group has been awarded an EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing us among the top-performing companies worldwide when it comes to sustainability and responsible business practices.
EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. More than 130,000 companies across 180 industries and 180 countries have been assessed through EcoVadis, making it the leading global benchmark for corporate sustainability. The assessment covers four key areas:
- Environment and climate action
- Labor and human rights
- Ethics and governance
- Sustainable procurement
The recognition covers our entire group, including Griptel AS (Norway), Griptel AB (Sweden), and our production unit in Latvia, SIA Gripsteel. The dedicated work carried out at Gripsteel has been particularly important in reaching this milestone, where the implementation and certification of ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) have made a significant contribution.
In just a few months, we have advanced from a Bronze medal in December 2023 to Gold in July 2024. This rapid progress reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and to creating long-term value through sustainable solutions.
Achieving Gold status confirms that our efforts meet high international standards and demonstrates our commitment to shaping the future of telecom infrastructure responsibly.
